Print Your Own Fabric Designs Website Developed by iPages!
When Print Me Pretty asked us if they could have a website where people could upload their own fabric designs to be printed we felt challenged and excited. This was particularly the case as our Creative Director, Emma Simpson, is a secret sewer, and loves anything crafty.
What we had to create was a website within our iPages eCommerce software that enabled customers to:
- upload their own fabric designs,
- choose the repeat type,
- change the size, and
- see a live preview.
We were also required to provide each customer with their own account area where they can store their designs and choose whether to publish them for sale or order for their own personal use. Any sales of the fabric had to reward the designer with a 10% commission.
We have to say that we are really pleased with the result. The website works well and we were excited with its usability and functionality. Of course, just with a standard iPages eCommerce website the website manages the sales ordering process for you, along with the accounts and customer management.
