General questions

 

Is there a setup/design fee?

Yes. There is a design and build fee for your website however, this can be as extensive or minimal as you require, depending upon your business needs.

Can I cancel my account at any time?

Yes. If you ever decide that iPages isn’t the best eCommerce platform for your business, simply cancel your account.

How long are your contracts?

All iPages plans are month to month unless you sign up for an annual or biennial plan. We therefore require 30 days notice for closing your account.

Do you offer any discounted plans?

Yes, we offer a 10% discount on annual Showcase plans, 25% on biannual and a 60% discount on 5 year Showcase plans, when they are paid upfront. 

Can I change my plan later on?

Absolutely! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time.

Is iPages PCI Compliant or PCI Certified?

Yes. iPages is certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant. This means all your data and customer information is ultra secure. We can provide quarterly certificates to help you pass your PCI questionnaire, and we cover all the scanning and updates on your behalf.

Are there any transaction fees?

If you choose to take card payments through our partners UPG-MONEK or Barclaycard EPDQ, we charge a sales fee of 3%, 2%, 1% and 0.5% depending on the volume sales. There may also be alternative fees from your bank depending on how you enable this facility, please contact our team for more information.

Can I use my own domain name?

Yes. You can purchase a domain name through iPages, or use an existing one that you own. We also provide a free ipagesonline.co.uk domain name to all businesses.

Do I need a web host?

iPages includes secure, unlimited eCommerce hosting on all plans.

eCommerce questions

Can I add in the Inventory management feature later?

Yes - all you’ll need is an excel spreadsheet with your latest stock take.

What do I need to start taking card payments?

You’ll need a merchant account with your bank. We tend to guide our clients through the process of choosing a card processing partner, so don’t hesitate to get in touch.

What Shipping options can you cater for?

Shipping can be controlled on a per product, per reseller rate, by weight, count or order value. Rates can vary by world zone, country, county or postcode, along with having multiple options for each destination.

I have a warehouse partner, what should I do?

At the point of setup, we’ll speak to your warehouse and advise on the best integration option for you.

I sell to both consumers and wholesalers, what do you suggest?

You have a choice over whether to setup two adjoined websites, or build your trade and consumer prices into a single website. 

I have a product which is bespoke pricing, how would you suggest I deal with this?

Out of the box, there are sophisticated product pricing tools to help your present your product correctly to your customer. E.g. You may wish to remove the 'Add to Basket' facility and replace this with a quotation form. We can enable this during your eCommerce setup. 


I would like to display my stockists, what would you recommend?

Using the stockists capability you are able to setup a searchable, visual directory of your stockists by simply entering their addresses within your admin area.

I have an existing design that I like, but I want to use the iPages platform, what should I do?

We are able to migrate existing designs to iPages by rebuilding these on the platform, contact our team for more information. 

I sell customised products with varying prices, what would you suggest?

No problem, these can be setup within the platform. Simply contact our support team for more information.
